Do you draft a top trench guy “too high,” or grab a top skill dude who inexplicably slipped? Our D was 30 ranked; our O was top five but .500 in one-score games.
I don't get why everyone is down on Michael Davis. He did have a down year, but that's because he was the CB1, which was a bit much for him. Although, as a CB2 is where he shines. With JC Jackson as CB1 and Samuel Jr. as the slot CB, I would think they just need 1 (maybe 2) depth CBs, but no one in the first round.

Only Staley/TT know.
The Chargers were .500 in one score games. A strong argument can be made that the 30th ranked run/ scoring defense may have held us back. FA adds have improved the defense. Letting Schofield go may have weakened our #5 offense..
First when I saw Brugler posted his 7 round Mock got real excited. Opened it up and quickly scrolled down to Chargers selecting 17. Then just sat there in stunned silence. Have too much respect for his work, so continued on, making more sense, in its entirety. However there are players after 17 I still like more. If it where considered a reach but adjusted the following picks/players to still cover needs, including RT, in the end would this board and Bolt Nation be up in arms? Let’s just say that player turned out real good and difference maker going forward, would take time obviously but just pause for a moment and consider, how would it feel :anchorjump:
That being said, Penning just doesn’t feel like the Chargers selection.
