IMO, if they take Green or Johnson, they will leave them at LG and move Feiler over to RT.
Aboushi hasn't been signed by anyone because he's still rehabbing. He'll be snatched up post-draft. Hopefully by us. Slater * Zion * Linsley * Aboushi * Feiler
That would be amazing!
Yeah, I’m coming around to this strategy as well. Zion is now ahead of Penning for me. He’s definitely not the most exciting pick at #17, but he’s the most responsible one. I’m an adult now (against my will) so it’s time to embrace responsible decisions.
You hope Herbert is making only 40 mil a year. I think he will be 55-60 mil. When Carr is making that and Murray wants that when he hasnt even been that great, Herbert will get a lot more. Saw a stat on ESPN that Murray in his first 3 seasons has 70 TD passes, Herbert in 2 seasons has 69 with 8 rushing TDs while not being a running QB.
Murray has 70 TD passes and 20 rushing TDs in 3 seasons.
Tell you what...maybe I'm naive, or maybe it's just wishful thinking...but my feeling on this kid is he is way more concerned about being the best Charger ever, and winning superbowls, than making his brand, or raking in the biggest contract out of greed or pride...really think the kid just wants to play football and win. I predict he will not be the highest paid QB when he signs his deal, or at worst, he barely surpasses the last biggest contract. In a nutshell, I could see him settling for 50-55mil a year when he could easily get 60. Honest to god, I think the kid would be altruistic, and leave some money on the table for the team to spend on it's other players...call me a fool, but it's just a gut feeling about the kid. I think he is an honest to god "nice guy"...but I guess we will see in a few years....

Word is that Carr settled and is being praised for being unselfish as he is leaving room to keep players and its what Carr said. He is getting 40 mil a year. Who knows about Herbert. He may want to stay here but he isnt going to undercut himself either. At least i dont expect him to. Carr didnt and he is a nice guyand said over and over he didnt want to play anywhere else...... and not sure id pay him 40 mil.
The Browns really screwed other teams by offering Watson that stupid huge deal and he isnt even out of the woods yet with his lawsuits. The Browns owners & management is just awful.

Hey Fool, I'm with you.
something about his wholesome-like upbringing that tells me this kid sees the big picture.
Not necessarily in an altruistic approach but simply understanding his chances of winning increases significantly by avoiding negotiating an unprecedented amount.
Who knows what he's really like, but I don't see him dressing or spending extravagantly which tells me he's genuinely sensible.
Keep working, Nutty.
Drummers are underrated.
Led Zeppelin. John Bonham.
Rush. Neil Peart.
Genesis. Phil Collins.
The Band. Levon Helm.
It ends when the drummer is done.
Those first 3 were underrated?
nobody gives a shit about The Band. No one knows a single song that is theirs if you don’t tell them first. Sorry to divulge … condolences.

Guess I’m joining the church of Zion.
Going with the safer pick...Ahhhh, less chance of a bust.
