"Kenyon Green is a former 5-star recruit out of the state of Texas. Green became an immediate starter for the Aggies and has notched more than 35 starts in his three-year career. Green is an experienced starter that has played multiple positions along the offensive line...every position but center. Green has natural functional strength that he uses to become a true road grader in the run game. Offensive coordinators will find it beneficial to call run plays that follow behind Green's path. As a pass protector, Green possesses quickness that he uses to mirror defenders and become a dominant interior pass protector. Green is a versatile offensive lineman that has amassed a ton of experience throughout his career. Green has the athleticism and physical temperament to become an instant starter and a future All-Pro offensive lineman.
Ideal Role: Green can play both guard positions and RT"

In any case, TDN write-ups are from before the season started. They are far behind.
Green is an option but for me as well but we have FA that will depend on what we do. He is on the bottom of my list til then.
So here we are now posting on another thread about pick 17 .... with a sketchy poll option, instead of the other one.1. Mason Taylor TE LSU
2. Quinshon Judkins RB Ohio st
3. Kyle Kennard Edge So. Carolina ✓
4. CJ West DT Indiana
5. Don'te Thornton WR Tennessee
6. Zah Frazier CB UTSA
6. Jarquez Hunter RB Auburn
6. Jay Higgins LB Iowa
6. Hunter Wohler S Wisconsin
7. Carson Vinson OT Alabama

Watch some tape on this kid...he is a hunter...always looking to dominate somebody...and reportedly high football IQ and character. A very good, very safe selection.
To be honest, I like a lot of different options at 17...the edge class alone is crazy good...Im just stumping for this kid as an alternate, interesting, and viable option for us in the first. My mindset could likely change after our additions and losses in free agency. But for now, I think Green is worth consideration.THE YEAR OF THE FLIP!

As for the need at DL, it sure is a real need but ask yourself this - what DL can you name that makes more stops than the LBers? The DL needs to occupy the OL so the LB's can step up and stop the run. Devin Lloyd would be a great addition to our defense if we land a good DL during the FA period.
Right now the need for a LB is probably about number four on the list but suppose we use FA's to fill the other needs and meanwhile White signs elsewhere.THE YEAR OF THE FLIP!
