98. Kyler Gordon, CB, Washington (7.0)

April rumor was, the Chargers had similar grades on these two. Leads me to speculate that Kyler Gordon is today's pick by the Chargers at #79.

drafting a player ranked 98 at 79 would be bad
but if true about a similar ranking as McDuffie, that is probably good!

If they have a player on their board in the top 50 - that would be nice picking at 79

Feel like we still need DL help. Day coming off an injury and that guy from the Giants is nothing to tickle my pickle. Then there is Tillery, just a waste of space. Sucks because by round 3 hopefully T.T is not getting us a ex door dash driver as our pick.

Agreed - my guess Staley has Hicks on speed dial if today and tomorrow do not work out for DL depth

Raiders I laughed so hard when I saw that they declined to pick ALL THREE of their 5th year option this morning, selected under Mayock & Gruden, my how far the 1967-1969 Oakland Raiders, who only lost 4 games, have fallen. Al Davis built his teams by OT and CBs. Raiders, like the Chargers, pick in the 3rd Round today.

Texans are following that formula, as I see it. This is brilliant and Davis Mills is the right guy, right now, IMO.

Gordon didn't run as fast as expected at the combine (4.52 40-yard dash), but he's a physical specimen with twitch and toughness and a good deal of improvement still to come.
