Texans are trading down with Atlanta and selecting Bjian #8.

Would you prefer Myles Murphy or Lukas Van Ness @ #21 ??
      Ness looks like a Charger

I thought the exact same thing

Chargers will take a CB or another piece for Staley's defense that never makes a difference, passing on Flowers and other offensive weapons. Chiefs will grab Flowers.

Come the season we will watch Mahomes to Flowers running circles around poor tackling Charger defenders

AT 21- Murphy.. LVN may have more upside but Murphy is a safer bet for 2023. I want pick 21 to pay off NOW!

So Murphy is your power move in round one, huh chargeroo ?

He does have a good frame, athletic ability as a basis to work with.

Big EDGE depth is vital, short & long, with these heavy contracts.

Like Nolan Smith, Myles might be considered a little stiff, and not overly bendy, but many successful NFL players have had this aspect.

I believe Jared Allen is considered a comp...good company.

Myles Murphy is projected to go top 15. He just visited the Patriots! Realistically speaking we would have to trade up to draft him.

This guy says if the Chargers drafted Zach Charbonnet it would create one of the best RB duos in the league paired with our Austin E. "Their styles complement each other perfectly." I don't know. I'm underwhelmed by his lack of elite speed (4.53) and the fact that the last UCLA RB the Chargers drafted is JAG. If Charbonnet is there at No. 85 (3rd) do you draft him?

I'm not seeing the Charbonnet thing.
You know who he reminds me of( granted, I've only seen highlight reel stuff? JOSH KELLEY!
                  So no, hard pass.

Those "projections" mean next to nothing, you should know that. David Jeremiah ranks him as 23rd. But, again, that's just a projection.

All the same, I'll be shocked if he's there at 21. Bresee and Will McDonald, maybe there at 21. Bresee probably would go higher and still may if it were not for the injuries. Joey Porter Jr. and Jaxon Smith are the gems that I am hoping falls but again probably a pipe dream.

Actually, I think Van Ness and Murphy are both worthy of first round picks. Flip a coin to figure out which one is best for us.

If we land any of the guys in my seven man cluster, I'll be happy. I pretty much change my mind on a daily basis regarding which one I want the most.
