DJ has us taking Mayer as well.

DJ would never reveal any actual inside intel from the Chargers, so that, IMO, means the idea of Mayer at #21 is smoke. We'll see soon enough.

I wouldn't complain about getting both. Not sure Hyatt is worth 21 though. Rather have Flowers if both available.

If Hyatt falls to #54-- and he *could*-- he'd be the logical pick at #54. Not saying it's likely, only that it's possible. 30% chance, in my estimation.

How we all feeling folks on this draft day eve? I haven’t been as invested this year for some reason. Hoping we at least trade down and get another second day pick.

No need to trade down. Someone good will drop to us at #21. If anything if there's someone we really like we should just trade next years 1st rounder for an additional second rounder because we're going to the superbowl...right?

Seems to me that there are far more legit options to contemplate for the pick at #21 than in the previous two drafts, where the Bolts picked at #12 (Slater) and #17 (Zion).

Not that I expect it, but just to demonstrate the point- there could be a QB available at #21 that some team would trade it's metaphorical left nut for.

You'd have to listen to an offer, unless a total no-brainer is there for the taking at #21.

Just think there will be better value, hoping it’s RB (but a nice EDGE or DB is okay too).

We weren’t going to pay Hunter as much as the Pats. Especially given his injury history.
