They showed 4.52 on the TV and I'm reading 4.49 at his pro day. He isn't slow, just a long strider. I'm ok with him I just get concerned with getting shut down by Georgia but Duggan was also terrible.

Flowers should have been the pick IMO or a TE.

ESPN does have Tee Higgins as a comp for QJ. If he can be close to a Tee Higgins it will be a good pick.

A big man with small-man burst, Johnston accelerates well to stack, track and separate deep or create plays after the catch with his elusiveness, strength and instincts. His length and body control help him make impressive grabs away from his body, but he struggled with contested windows on tape and had more drops than touchdown catches in 2022. Overall, Johnston requires polish with his route-running and ball-finishing skills, but he offers legitimate big-play potential with his size-speed athleticism and catch radius. He has NFL-starting traits with upside as he continues to develop.


Sounds like he needs some work but he has two good veterans to learn from. Who better than to learn route running than Keenan Allen?

actually, if it wasn't kincaid, I think it was a good choice as WR..... the other WR's were quick but very small and Addison looks like he is not a humble kid.... Jonston looks like a greatful humble kid willing to learn.....

We pick a WR in the 1st round that "needs to learn to catch the ball better". Classic TT

Thats the funny thing is before the "word" got out that he catches with his body he was the consensus #1 WR of the draft.
