they probably liked him for his pass blocking prowess with the idea that they can further develop his run blocking ability...the rams did well with McClendon and Allen, I would've been very happy with either guy in round 5...but macfadden is a solid pick...

I am in no way convinced that Kellen Moore is happy with McKitty as our sole blocking TE.

      Hunter Luepke ?
      Davis Allen ?
That big slow guy ftom Bethune Cookman ?

A draft this deep at TE will produce late cuts of veteran journeymen TEs.

Shouldn't they be drafting a TE with one of the last picks?

            Has Allen been drafted yet?

So many players I like are gone before Chargers pick.
I was hoping for Chammari Conner and Evan Hull in Rd 6 and 7. But they go Rd 4 and 5. Rd 4-7 is just one big cluster. Everything is a reach for a player a team likes.
Who has it better than us?

Are there any better blocking tight ends available at this point who can step on to the field at Charger Park and immediately out block McKitty?

I thought McKitty had some good moments two years ago in that category. Did he regress? He looked uncomfortable going out on pass routes.

I will say they have definitely improved. The offense and return game have gotten a lot better/faster. Defense at a minimum have gotten improved depth with guys that can play in situational plays. I expect they will get significant play time. I think the Chargers are having a silent solid draft so far. I think if they can add a TE (Kuntz) in the 6th it would be epic for the offense.

                      You are correct friend.

The former 3rd rounder looked bad in several ways last year.

Trey needs to come on right now.

RB is done for us now lol.

I wouldn't mind Hull actually. He is like Ekeler with better speed. Catches the ball real well but isn't going to make you miss like some of the better RBs.

Don't really see a TE now. Kuntz is a project, so pass! We have Smartt for that type.
