2023 NFL Draft: RT Darnell Wright vs EDGE Will Anderson Jr

Coach's tape of the Alabama/Tennessee game. This RT Darnell Wright did not give up a sack this season in the SEC. Fascinating how productive Anderson is out of a 4i technique.

I love Dalton Kincaid's acceleration out of his cuts. It is damned impressive. Absolutely 1st Round. Michael Mayer might have the most complete game, but to describe him as explosive. No. Think of a more fluid Hunter Henry. Musgrave has the size and quickness of the other top TE profiles, but he is capable of more explosive plays than Mayer. More than Kincaid....is debatable. Musgrave might be the hardest of the three to bring down. Musgrave is a larger, better version of Michael Mayer.

Musgrave is experienced blocking in a zone scheme and has dynamic pass-catching talent. - Lance Zierlein*

In his first mock of the 2023 NFL Draft, Lance Zierlein projects the Buccaneers and Raiders to begin new eras at quarterback. Check out the full first-round forecast, 1-31.

For what it is worth, I do not expect Musgrave to last until #21 and as much as I like his potential, I'm drafting right tackle in the 1st Round.
Musgrave may be the best athlete in the bunch. Exciting to think of Herb working some magic with that guy. But I do worry about his durability. Kincaid’s blocking also worries me, although his downfield talent is undeniable. Two other names to consider are Tucker Kraft (smaller school though) and Payne Durham (impressed at Senior Bowl) - both look like complete TEs. Judging by what Kellen did with Dallas (upwards of 24% snaps in 12 personnel), I’m guessing he wants solid run blockers.

Finally saw a mock that had the Chargers taking Joey Porter, Jr. in the 1st round.

There's rarely a year when the Chargers *aren't* predicted to be targeting CB in the draft's early going. I'm often against it, preferring Beef like Slater and Zion.

But Joey Porter, Jr.? Gotta love his size (6-2, 192) and bloodlines.

There are a number of players I'd be excited about seeing the Bolts pick at #21, and Porter is one of them.

Wow I had Tyler Scott as my sleeper pick in the late rounds along with Tank Dell and Jayden Reed.Brugler messing up my mojo.

The WR class is stacked. There will be good ones in the 4th-6th rounds.
                    Protect the QB
                    Run the ball
                    Play great defense

Not as stacked as last year and many of those round WRs from last year didnt really do much.

Rounds 4-6 for a second WR is fine. Telesco needs to spend some solid Day 1 or Day 2 draft capital on a WR.

Hence, unless the right player is there at 21 - get more picks

Flowers, Kincaid at 21 if staying there. Maybe trade back for Hyatt

I like Reed in R2 for WR. Also Scott from Cincy looks good too
