I doubt any of those teams would have done that if they liked a player at a position with greater value, although Jalen Ramsey was sitting right there for the Cowboys. In hindsight the Giants should have taken Josh Allen, but very few thought he was the best quarterback in that draft, which is why he was the third passer taken.

I can't find many who believe there are five players better than Bijan Robinson in this draft. If he lasts to the 21st pick and Telesco doesn't take him I think we should all boycott until he gets fired.
See, thats the thing. That’s a common opinion - but is it true? They really didn’t like any other players on the Rd1 board so they wasted their Rd1 pick, 2nd overall, on a position of low value RB? How is that possible? There were great players on the board when Sequon was picked, including Josh Allen. But they still had Eli, and it appears they thought the key missing piece to really improve the team was an elite RB.

We have Herbie and at “power back” we have … Kelley, Spiller, Rountree … hmmm.

    Someone, somewhere, posted this...shoulda quoted...

Essentially, Kincaid, Bijan, and Flowers are the only offensive skill players they would draft at 21. I tend to agree...though I would throw Njigba in there, were he to make it that far.

Flowers Im on the fence...but we could sorely use a vertical threat...and he does seperate from the rest of those types of receivers in this draft with his crazy YAC production, and his ability to work all three levels of the field, having an actual developed route tree...

Anybody else, as far as offensive "juice"...I would PREFER scooping them up after a trade back....

Nice commentary...good point on Keion. Where is Myles Murphy, though? Bresee also a surprise ommission...but I would be floored if Murphy slipped out of the first. I have La Porta well ahead of Musgrave...but I have never warmed to him...total projection...drops the ball too much....but Im just nitpickin'....fun stuff, Beach

I've seen a few pundit mocks have us trading up to grab Bijan.

Trading back requires a trade back partner, and for all WE know, Telesco has been interested in trading back on occasion, but wasn't able to locate a team to dance with.

Likewise, maybe Telesco typically has identified the guy he wants when he's on the clock, and doesn't see five equal prospects, at least ONE of whom he would definitely have access to if he traded down a handful of spots.

So IMO, "He hasn't done it before" isn't an entirely persuasive argument. The circumstances involving the depth of this particular draft crop at the 21st pick may make trading down pretty much a no-brainer IF THE RIGHT TRADE PARTNER CAN BE FOUND.

So I'm 'Wait and See' on this particular issue.

    More likely, they'll trade back.
Trading up a few spots perhaps.

The question is, in this particular draft, what will it take to move up to #9? Would #21, Ekeler, and a third be enough?
