and @LB, pretty much got my sights set on the one guy.... Cedric Gray, and.... looks like it might cost us our third to nab him ??

the plethora of talent is w/the RBs far as I can see.... see no reason not to go back 2 back for a coupla of 'em ??

hesitant to go WR either too early, as would be nice if someone like Bru McCoy lasted for a bit, or if Sturdivant fell some.... ??
So whats the difference of we go CB early or NT? You are saying we need a DT/NT and we will need a CB.

I know....keep Vato. Likely not happening. I know you would keep him but things point to us not keeping him.
He is playing this week though because Leonard has an injured heel.

Will be some good CBs round 2 if we don't get one round 1 and probably will need that CB to start so waiting isn't good strategy. That CB will play every down, a DT/NT will not. Maybe they sign one , who knows.

My two TEs and Bowers and Sanders.
Jaheim Bell is ok, but he is split out often so hard to see much tape of him blocking, so got to read scouting reports that don't look real favorable to his blocking. And to me he looks undersized and under the 239lbs he is listed. Looks more a shorter version of Gesicki who can't block but a better runner with the ball.

After that it's just some decent guys like Sinnott. Maybe he can beat out Parham but don't know if he can step in right away. Michigan TE AJ Barner is a sleeper/value pick who could turn out to be a good one.

That's why for me, if we pick top 10 or lower I'm going Bowers or targeting Sanders round 2.
TE is not the class it was last year.

Would be a draft to have extra picks from Bosa and MW trades.

He now knows what’s happening on both sides of the ball.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
      Let’s win one for Mack.

So In other words, resign Everett? Or someone else. I don't see a starting TE in that bunch. At least not as Rookies and Parham isn't a starting TE either.

I like Everett, I do. But the cap won't let us bring anyone back.
C'mon, you don't see a starter after Bowers and Sanders...?

TEs...yeeesss...painfully clear, even with some flashes at recieving from our guys, that with regards to the run game, we are woefully lacking...

You know, funny enough, the most common mentions on here when hindsight drafting are Kincaid(my guy) and Flowers(my fav wr)...but the guy who actually might have made the most impact, and solved the most problems? The guy I had pegged early in the process...Michael Mayer. Blocking side of beef who catches anything that hits his hands, even with LBs or Safeties drapped all over him...not explosive or dymamic...just damn reliable in doing his job...something sorely needed on this team.
            Lone Bolt's Final Mock

Sleeper day 3 pick: Tahj Brooks RB Texas Tech

Not right away as rookies anyways. As mentioned i think Sinnott, Barner maybe Stover can be pretty decent ones in time. Bell not real high on and he looks to me to be under the 239 lbs he is listed at.

Id rather bring back Hunter Henry than Everett. Both are 29. Give Hunter Henry a 2 year 10-11 mil deal and make year 2 an out. NE isnt going to resign him. They hardly use him after what they paid him.....unless BB still thinks as high of him as he did before thy got him. Everett im only interested at 4 mil....and even then, he is an average TE.....runs tough but thats it.

Perhaps a 1 year cheap deal for Hooper. He is also mediocre but he would be cheap to get a rookie up to speed.

I love Flowers and Kincaid but I was calling for Mayer as that complete TE before the draft, if they went TE, too. I don’t know if I was right. Mayer doesn’t have great speed but he does have a smooth cut step to create temporary separation. Its not gonna last that long in man, zone of course is much more about just finding the big hole up the seam somewhere.

If the slotting is right, I'd prefer a solid, shutdown corner in round 1...good corners are really hard to find...
                    22 - TE Mason Taylor
                    55 - RB Quinshon Judkins

I hadn’t either so I read up. Transfer from ASU. I don’t know they choose a winner for that award but there were more than one with better stats, better record, and tougher competition than LSU.

Edit: Looking at his stats. He led in touchdowns and was 3rd in yards
