for you guys that like to draft by position.... thinkin' these are the guys that would be (really) good selections for the LAC:

    WR Rome Odunze
    RT Taliese Fuaga
    DT Jer'Zhan Newton
    DE JT Tuimoloau
    ED Laiatu Latu, Bralen Trice

there might be other pretty good gets, but if not listed (see McKinstry) my sense is that they would be overvalued if we selected them top ten.

otherwise would consider them riskier than not (see Bowers), and would rather not take so much of a chance when drafting top ten.
ED Matayo Uiagalelei, DT Dontay Corleone, OC Iapani Laloulu, CB Domani Jackson, OG Earnest Greene III, WR J Michael Sturdivant, LB Eric Gentry
TE Jelani Woods, LB Isaiah Simmons, TE Cade Otton, RB Kyren Williams, P Matt Araiza

So again, you see Bowers as a injury risk..... for some reason......but not Latu? Puzzling. Are there some players you feel that aren't an injury risk?

like I mentioned before.... not sure I can put my finger on it ??

he could be an injury risk, he could be susceptible to the stigma attached to first round TEs of late, he could be more of a straight line speed athlete and not as much an all world TE.... dunno ??

and yes, Latu is an injury risk, and.... not unlike Khalil in that he's had a solid last two years.... ??

Ah, I get it now. I don't think he is gonna be one of the 33 to 50% first round busts.

I see Bowers as a top-notch TR and I think we need one those. I recall the QB/TE duos of our past and I'd like to see what Herbert/Bowers could do or us.

Fuck this Skip Bayles Hot Take!!!!!!!!! Is Maybers better then Marvin Harrison. Jr.? I’m just saying.

But I think Naybers looks like Odell Beckham Jr. not Jamar Chase.

Now we will have a new GM to review those contracts and we really have no idea how the new GM sees things.
We will continue to draft who we feel but it's anyone's guess with a new GM and HC. No telling who stays and who goes, though I think we may have a clue.
Bosa imo has to go. Contract/injuries. Get something while we can.

Harrison Bryant....he has done very little. Not sure why you want him so bad! And he is still only 230lbs.
He comes from a good running team and he’s a good blocking TE that can also go out and make some plays here and there.

Keep getting Harrison in mocks. Feels good. That is one guy i counted out...but here we are near the top for now. He would be a money pick love him and then Rome the most. Nabers in the discussion for sure.

Everything right now should be centered around our 50mil plus/yr QB...every decision made, from GM, Coach, player retention, contract shedding, trades, and draft...build a juggernaut offense, and our mid defense will look a lot better.

So although I like Latu a lot...not really thinking defense with the first pick with Bowers and those very nice tackle prospects in play...
Everything should be focused on winning the line of scrimmage first. Drafting pass-catchers to appease your highly-paid quarterback will get you beat by the better teams in the NFL. Which is why Fouts and Rivers have no Super Bowl rings and Herbert doesn't have a playoff win.

I have no issue with drafting an offensive tackle if a great one is there when we pick in the first round. Not sure there will be one available, though.

I agree about focus on line of scrimmage, and at least one, if not both of the top 2 tackle prospects should be there when we pick...and they are good ones...still want Bowers, lol...I think he will be big in this league. But again, Im good as long as we go offense. Once I actually get deep into evals, if I dont like the oline prospects on day 2, Im probably going to lean towards Fashanu and Alt, over Bowers with our first pick.

I imagine, since Telesco is gone, we are far more likely to see a trade back...if we stay in the top 10 after such a trade, we could still have a shot at Bowers, along with the RT from Alabama, and Latu, and Newton, and Koolaid..probably best possible scenario...
                          Lone Bolt's Final Mock

Tyler Booker G, Josaiah Stewart Edge, Cam Skattebo RB, Mitchell Evans TE, Jamaree Caldwell NT, Isaac TeSlaa WR, Ahmed Hassanein DE, Craig Woodson S, Eli Cox C, Kalel Mullings RB

Sleeper day 3 pick: Tahj Brooks RB Texas Tech
