Marvin Harrison is a franchise receiver just as good as Jefferson just as good as Chase. His route running is elite. Cede Lamb level. Anybody who can’t see that is not watching football.

Here’s the factor. Watch his tape with CJ stroud. Utah couldn’t do anything. CJ shredded them.

Marvin can run any route tree.

Bowers is elite. All that bull about the Bengals fuck outa here. Bowers is a top 5 pick. players gotta play but this guy puts great tape out there.

He’s Gronk SIZE. Kelce footwork. And has soft Kittle hands. he is the prototypical tight end of today.

Look what Kincaid did for Buffalo just an elite talent. If Bowers had red flags like drops I would see them. Whenever he’s on tape defenses we’re getting destroyed.

Michigan supposedly has an elite defense. This elite defense Bowers destroyed. He’s why Georgia destroyed Michigan.

Kennan Allen wants to stay in L.A.he wants to be a Charger. He will be a Charger. You draft Bowers. Herbert needs the security blanket. So he won’t be running around getting sacked.

people forget we still have Darius Davis.

Bowers and Harrison are elite the other players are good players.

I definitely prefer that over those who already claim he's a reach for where we pick simply because they read on some mock draft that he should be taken somewhere between 10 and 20. I'm sure there were plenty who said the same about fellow Bama corner Marlon Humphrey, when he went 16th overall in his draft. Humphrey's been a top 10 corner for the majority of his career, but the mock draft experts surely would have criticized a team if it selected him fifth overall.
Thanks DB! I appreciate the compliment. I try to stay neutral when it comes to evaluating prospects... and I find a lot of sloppy evals from some of the mock experts. I don't spend a lot of time reading their write ups... I'd rather spend my time looking [at actual tape] for myself.

Excellent point about Marlon Humphrey... he went #16 but has had a huge impact. I think he's another good comp for Kool-Aid.
In fact, if you look at some of the recent Alabama CB's taken in the 1st rounds (Surtain, Humphreys, Diggs, Branch)... they've all made their defenses significantly better.

CB's are CB's... either they can cover... or they can't. I couldn't give a shit where experts rank them.
Right now, we don't have any CB's that can cover. We're the 30th pass defense... and the cupboards are bare. It wasn't because we couldn't pass rush. Everyone wants to take the easy way out and blame Staley 100% of the pass defense... and he deserves part of the blame... but everyone needs to acknowledge how bad the personnel was, too. This approach sounds like Lombardi 2.0 to me.
        Protect the QB
        Run the ball
        Play great defense

yes... Bowers is special..... he is best TE prospect in decades..... big(not as big as some but could get bigger), super fast, elusive, strong, nasty tough, never quits, and he is a GREAT blocker..... can play big RB/FB(he breaks tackles... has made a 70+ yard TD run from a handoff sweep)...... and has great WR type hands..... i saw a write up where he was the best run after catch receiver in nation..... and above all he would add a physical toughness that is has been greatly missing for Chargers since maybe Marty and LT/SEAU were here.... which will elevate everyone in soft SCAL..... all Bowers does is make clutch plays..... a guy a QB can go to any down when others are covered.... he will make the play and run over defenders to get the first down or TD,,,,

Harrison and Bowers might be best 2 non-QB's in this draft....both are viewed as generational players....

That's what I saw too. Wash better set the edge or the game will be a run-n-fun game for Michigan

Bowers is 6-4, 240 lbs. Gronk was 6-6, 265 lbs.
Buffalo's offense threw for 9 more yards in 2023 v 2022... they threw 6 fewer TD's this year.
3 years ago, Bowers had 5 receptions for 55 yards vs. Michigan... 4 receptions for 36 yards vs Alabama one game later.
This year, he had 5 receptions for 53 yards vs Alabama.

Bowers is very good. But C'mon, your inaccurate declarations aren't helping your case.
