I really like Braelon Allen rb Wisconsin in 3rd if he is there. He will benefit from a team with a solid passing game.
Time to put my money where my mouth is: Hampton will be better than Jeanty!

Just watched some video of him last night and this morning. Hard to believe to my eyes he weighed in at 286lb at the senior bowl. He does not look it. I didnt have a radar on him, but do now

Had an eye on Carson early. So many others have emerged since my time looking at him. Still on the list though.

        Consensus Big Boards will change.

I watched Darius as well. There is a lot to like. But then he got tired and when OL got hands on him, he was shut down very easily at that point. So #37 might be a bit high for me. I didn't see any counter moves. He was trying to bend the edge and once the OL got a bead on his style of pass rush. He couldn't win anymore, IMV. But his size, speed and motor on the edge are nice traits.

Agree!!! I’m looking at either Gus Edwards or D’onta Forman here.
Those would work for me too. I'm looking at D'Andre Swift and Zack Moss.
Signing a free agent RB would be cheaper than most other positions. The market for RB has diminished and the supply has increased lately.

Yes! You just nailed a lot of the guys I've been watching.
Darius @#37 might be a little steep... but he's certainly better than the 4th/5th the experts have him at. He'll be moving up most experts draft boards now that he showed so well @the SB.

If the Chargers draft room doesn't value Kool-Aid or Quinyan as much as I do @#11... then Caelen Carson @#69 would be a good call.

Ray Davis is a nice prospect. The RB group gets deeper and deeper the more I watch... and a FA RB has to be a cheaper way to re-build. One of each (along with run blocking scheme improvements via coaching changes) would make FA RB, draft RB, Spiller a viable group. Don't forget that Jaret Patterson is on the roster already. He's small. But arm tackles won't bring him down.

TY. Latu has a wide array of moves.
That really works at NFL level.
Too many ideas swirling around in my head ATM.
                Draft geeks dilemma.

then saw I had given myself two round three picks lol.

I think Darius works well in a Harbaugh system. If you look at what Harbaugh had/did @Michigan, you'll see that he generated a lot of his QB pressure up the middle using stunts and twists. He had Kris Jenkins and Mason Graham @IDL. He also brought LB's. Sometimes he would go big at DE/DT and put a bigger Rayshawn Benny in at DE. In that scenario, Darius would fit well. The other bigger DE?DT I like is Gabe Davis.

Latu hands alone on the edge are worth drafting him. Swats the OL arms off him to get to the QB at NFL starter level. He is the player I was hoping might fall to #37 because of previous surgery.

Joe Hortiz first draft. I have a feeling it will look night and day difference from a Telesco draft.

His vision is something definitely lacking in the RB room.

both the espn crew and the NFL network crew just gushed over Robinson in Mobile, the guy has a prototypical NFL body, he needs some polish for sure but he plays with a lot of power and really hard too...it wouldn't surprise me if he worked his way into the bottom of the first round at the senior bowl...he's probably going to put on a show at the combine too...

This may be our guy in round two.
Jeremiah has him at exactly #37.

Now, Jaimes gave up zero pressures in that brief stint at Center after Clapp's injury. Ben will help him obtain better anchor and core strength. Food for thought.

Lone Bolt was right about JPJ. A trade down with much capital would be acceptable, but involves passing on Bowers.
                          These decisions are difficult.

                          To be continued.
                          The debate must go on.
