I really like Braelon Allen rb Wisconsin in 3rd if he is there. He will benefit from a team with a solid passing game.

Darius Robinson at #37 would be awesome.
Big EDGE. Length. Power. Inside flexibility.
Mizzou...aka Justin, Aldon Smith U.
JimH, you follow ?
Caelen Carson at #69 is my next nugget.
Size. Decent speed. Ball skills. Tackling. Urgency.
Wake Forest.
This is our guy !
Ray Davis at #105. 5'8" 220#. Tree trunk legs. Short Center of gravity. Led NCAA in broken tackles. Pass Pro can improve.
Kentucky.
Rounds 2-3-4 will be damn important !
TPB Draft Scouts.
Please have a look.

I watched Darius as well. There is a lot to like. But then he got tired and when OL got hands on him, he was shut down very easily at that point. So #37 might be a bit high for me. I didn't see any counter moves. He was trying to bend the edge and once the OL got a bead on his style of pass rush. He couldn't win anymore, IMV. But his size, speed and motor on the edge are nice traits.Who has it better than us?

Signing a free agent RB would be cheaper than most other positions. The market for RB has diminished and the supply has increased lately.Protect the QB
Run the ball
Play great defense

Darius @#37 might be a little steep... but he's certainly better than the 4th/5th the experts have him at. He'll be moving up most experts draft boards now that he showed so well @the SB.
If the Chargers draft room doesn't value Kool-Aid or Quinyan as much as I do @#11... then Caelen Carson @#69 would be a good call.
Ray Davis is a nice prospect. The RB group gets deeper and deeper the more I watch... and a FA RB has to be a cheaper way to re-build. One of each (along with run blocking scheme improvements via coaching changes) would make FA RB, draft RB, Spiller a viable group. Don't forget that Jaret Patterson is on the roster already. He's small. But arm tackles won't bring him down.Protect the QB

That really works at NFL level.
Too many ideas swirling around in my head ATM.
Draft geeks dilemma.
Thought I had a winning mock,
then saw I had given myself two round three picks lol.We play modern Harball.

This may be our guy in round two.
Jeremiah has him at exactly #37.
Now, Jaimes gave up zero pressures in that brief stint at Center after Clapp's injury. Ben will help him obtain better anchor and core strength. Food for thought.
Lone Bolt was right about JPJ. A trade down with much capital would be acceptable, but involves passing on Bowers.
These decisions are difficult.
To be continued.
The debate must go on.Last edited by wu-dai clan; 02-04-2024, 05:11 PM.We play modern Harball.
