I’ve been nabbing one in the 2nd in some mocks, and waiting till the 5th or so in others. I think you’re right. Eh, idunno he’s a head case. One thing that jumped in some of the tape I’ve watched is how he can throw it in an extra gear in the middle of route and just burn away from a DB who “had” him covered. He’s got a nitro tank hidden in his uniform. Elite acceleration burst. The older I get, the less I rely on just timed 40 speed and look to see - do they have “it” to create those 2 yards of separation where others would remain covered tight. Whether its crafty feet, like Slayer, or ability to just blaze a quick burst, these guys are successful at the next level.Originally posted by Charge! View Post“Less is more? With all this draft talk it's GREAT not having to worry about drafting a QB !!
QB's and Harrison Jr are going top 4. The other qb are just not worth the draft capital to move up to 5 to get them. I also don't think they are worth it. I cannot see a team doing this ( yes, I know that team can get real stupid but I'm too practical ).
So not sure how they can swing a trade. If you need a OT you wait. Nabers, Odunze and BB maybe but then Chargers would lose out on this. CB, EDG and DT are not worth the #5. It would take some creative maneuvering.
Maybe trade back a couple of spot ( 7-9 ) then at this point you may have more teams interested and it would not cost them as much. Trade again back another 4-8 spots. YES, you loose out on a top WR and BB and maybe a stud CB. BUT man you sure would have some draft capital. Good thing TT is not there because he would never do this.
I have no idea if Horvitz would. Just having some fun because we have no history with this new regime!
