I'd take Alt. A great offensive line will make all of the receivers, the running backs, and the QB better. Not so much, tight end.

Gronk is most certainly not "dumb as fuck". He scored 32 on his wonderlic test, which is in the top 15% high scorers.

Hortiz has to be prepared for the possibility that MH2 is there at 5.
Absolutely agree with that guy. Nabers had a better season. So did Odunze. Id be fine with all three. Don't like one over the other.
said it once ill say it again,...if we don't draft Nabers or MHJ, I won't care. There are other good recievers later.

I do have a liking for Bowers but it won't ruin my life if we don't draft him. If we don't draft Bowers or a WR, I'm fine trading down for a CB, or a Edge.

I'm not on Alt either but that's me. If we need a RT, get a RT. But id rather fix the IOL.

I’m against drafting a LT and asking him to transition to an RT. It’s very difficult and Sewell has issues his rookie season with it but got better the following year. Wirf had to get a sports therapist to help him transition from RT to LT. I think if you want RT then you trade down for an actual RT like Latham or Fuaga.

but shit I sure would like a Tyreke Hill type talent to take the cover off the top. This is who he looks like.
Wouldn't surprise me if Roman Wilson runs faster than Nabers.

In terms of positional value and PON, I would pick WR as well if we have to stay at #5. Of the three WR, which one is also good at run blocking?

agree with this. even if Keenan returns, WR will soon be a critical PON.

Id probably say MHJ is best if the three. Don't have a good read on Odunze on it.

My only negative in Odunze is, I see his timed 40 on a couple sites but he doesn't really look to play to those speeds. Maybe he is just smooth as butter but I don't see him play fast as the times I see. Not a red flag.
Will be interested to see his times in timed events.

Rice plays with his pants on fire and I see those two with comparable 40 times. Not a dig on Odunze just an observation. Maybe he is just smoother.

And ill revise my Alt take. He has played LT predominantly. Only if he is willing and thinks he can play RT would mind drafting him for that. Otherwise I'd draft a RT and there are some good ones.
Most don't have a problem with it but I get some may need some time.

Definitely a concern. But it can be done and has been.

And he is certainly not the greatest TE in NFL history. Winslow Sr., Gates, Gonzalez were much better. I would put Gronk on par with Newsome or Kelce, not quite 1A but 1B for sure.
