I'm starting to warm up to the notion that teams will trade up to #5 for JJ McCarthy.

Reminds me a bit of Joe Burrows.

TT without a franchise QB is like me going outside in the rain naked.

Ask him for a 1rst, a 2nd, a 3rd, and one of his two sons.

Jumping from outside of top 10 to top 5 is a lot.
        13, 44, next years 1 to start.
and one of Telesco's two sons.
Maybe throw in his left nut too, or no deal!!

Excuse me, I hear the other Charger draft room phone ringing!

I hope there are 2 or 3 teams wanting to trade up with us for a QB because I don't want to give one Raiders one. But I also don't want to go so far back. ATL may or may not be one. We'll see soon enough. Gonna be our Rivals, Denver, Turds or Or Minnesota. I'm hoping Chicago wants to trade up with us for one of the WRs from 9 to 5, but it might be more likely if they keep Fields and got a bunch of other picks.

          2. Quinshon Judkins RB Ohio st

QJ's personality was a the exact opposite amd where did that get us. So long as he buys in and isnt a locker room cancer Nabers wont be a issue. All that said I dont want Nabers as I dont think any WR outside of MHJ is worth our #5. I'd be fine with a trade and taking OT/Edge/BPA for the next two rounds.

Kinda think you need that in a WR, CBs too. Don’t want a whole team of them lol, but a couple seems the standard.

Chargers need the Steelers to trade for Fields and not Atlanta. Granted, the Russini report had the Falcons looking at either Baker or Cousins

Like you said - need a couple teams, not the Raiders or Broncos that want to move to 5

What makes you think this, here's his interview which doesn't give me that vibe at all...so unless you have personal info otherwise please disclose first...

If TT is trading up for a QB, and McCarthy is on the board, and if McCarthy is the QB Harbaugh thinks he is there is no way they are going to trade with Raiders or Denver. Harbaugh will not let McCarthy be a QB in the division, IMHO.

Harbaugh knows McCarthy better than TT or anybody with the Raiders - so depending on that review -- plus people like Minter and Clinkscale and even Ben Herbert - he might say "no way". Or he might say "make them MoFo's overpay as we have Justin Herbert!!"

I just think they will do whatever they can to keep McCarthy out of the division. Again, that's if Harbaugh believes he is as good as he says he is.
