A lot to like with Sinnott...elite vert, broad and 3-cone...nearly elite shuttle and 10-yd...

I would be surprised...not unpleasantly so...he is a good football player...who knows? Gonna be interesting to "meet Jim" this draft...might be some surprises...

I saw you run down some TEs on the Hurst thread...

No mention of Theo Johnson? Just curious...great tools, but not alot of tape to help his cause...

Tanner MacLachlan a so-so pass catcher? I would disagree...shades of La Porta imo...

Pretty much agree with everything else.

        Here are a few addons...

AJ Barner may be able to catch the ball...just wasnt used that way...not alot of targets to share around in that offense...I see Will Dissly type player.

Tip Reiman is raw, but terrific size and tools...6th round, put him on special teams, and coach him up.

Finally...wont shock me if we either wait til 6th or 7th, or dont address the position at all. Revamp of the oline, defense, wr, rb are gonna soak up alot of picks...
        Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

          That’s really high…..
This team has so many holes…
Even with 2 2’s which I’m hoping for.
          I like Sinnott, but damn…

The bottom line is this team simply cannot stay at 5.
          They just can’t.

So many people state "He knows minter's scheme", referring to Mich Defensive players.

That assumption, that he will run the same scheme, is flawed logic. Yes, it might be similar for terminology, but if Minter is smart he will take advantage of our strengths and 'hide' our weaknesses. Not shoe horn players into a scheme that does not work with our personnel.

Does that not sound a lot like Staley?
The base defense will be basically the same. The deference is going to be disguising where the blitzes and pressure comes from. Minter has brought the pressure inside and outside based on personnel (Players strengths at the time). I don't expect that to change.

If we could get a good run-stuffing DT, then we can move Tuli inside a lot for that inside pressure...

Yea he was able to get pressure inside last year. I love Tuli he can play both inside and outside. TT hit on that one.

Outside of a talented QB, next 3 positions in order of importance- OT, Edge, CB?
                        Fuaga, Alt?
                        Verse, Turner, Latu?
                        Mitchell, De Jean, Arnold?

We could certainly improve at all 3 spots.
But giving your best player( Herbert) the time to do what he does best MUST be the most critical aspect of this decision, no? Hell, we could draft MHJ, Nabors and Bowers but if JH doesn't have any time to throw( and we have no running game!), won't matter.

Ideally we get an offer to move back, collect draft assets, and build JH a really good O line.
