FA should be focused on NT or CB.

Decker would be awesome but he will cost too much.
He wouldnt cost much and is hardly used. Hell yes id sign him and he would be ready to step in right away when ever we need him.

Yea id prefer we draft a RB. Use the money on CB/NT. I really like Carlos Hyde. I love how Mathews was able to come through at the end of the year when he became the main guy but it eventually caught up with him. He just cant be relied on healthwise. LT had a way of not being able to play in the playoffs and i dont want to go through this everytime we make it there. The offense feeds of the run game. If you lose that things dont function right. I dont want Rivers to have to carry the team. He dosnt do well when our run game is shit. Fortify the run game with another RB and a couple OL. OG would help. We will probably lose Clary and Troutman didn't look to good today. Fuck we need at least 2 OL in this draft.

I want a stud defense but not at the expense of regressing on offense. I like DX/Floyd and Allen as the key WRs.

Id love Talib but he will be expensive. Hes finally got his head on straight and is playing elite level cb. Maybe Raji. I think Linval Joseph is a better player but im not sure he could play NT. Hes got the size.

We need a legitimate backup RB. Doesn't need to be highly drafted, but he needs to be able to run between the tackles. We got lucky Matthews was able to play as often as he did. Look at the Pats, they just had back after back coming in to run. If we want to be a rushing team, you have to have the horses to do it.

it's interesting...i hear about Hyde's fumble issues, but i cannot find the number of fumbles in any of his stats. he's a beast and would be an excellent 3rd back.

But the Pats don't spend a lot of money or use a lot of very high draft picks on RB. They tend to devalue the position, knowing that you can get them later on.

Gerhart,.............dude has 276 carries in his NFL career. Hardly used and only 36 this year. 4.7 YPC, 6', 234 lbs, can catch the ball, ran a 4.5 at the combine and is only 26.
Perfect fit!! Sign him to a 4 year deal. Shouldnt be that expensive. Can still sign a CB like Shields.

Carlos Hyde and Gaffney are a lot slower.

I wouldnt mind Hyde but we would have to use 3rd or 4th on him. There are some good WRs in that area that should slip.

When it comes to power backs i dont care about 40 times. Or i wouldnt have been all over Lacys nuts. Dosnt mean anything to me that hes faster in a 40 than Hyde and Gaffney. I like the way Hyde runs. Hes a bitch to bring down. And in the 3rd or 4th i have no problem picking him up. I think he has more potential than Gerhart. You see Gerharts big average and you wonder why... its because defenses back out of the 9 man fronts they use for Peterson. And with those type of numbers you would think he would start somewhere but he wont. I want to draft a starting running back caliber player. Someone who complements Mathews. I want a mauler for the goaline as well. I dont dislike Gerhart i just dont think his numbers have the Peterson effect baked in the cake.

Ridley and Vareen are second and third round picks. Not saying I would spend that pick on a RB, but I wouldn't scoff at it if Tre Mason is staring them in the face.

This year in particular, there are a fuckton of talented RB's that will be available in the 2nd-5th rounds. I do think we need a physical runner to compliment Matthews. Woodhead has the change of pace/pass catching back position locked.

Either way, we need that Michael Turner type waiting in the wings. Love how RM played this year but we need an insurance policy.

We definitely need a RB. Brown's days are far behind him and the lack of a serious between the tackles RB killed us today with Mathews only getting 5 carries.

Blows my mind that at one point we had LT, Sproles, and Turner all on the roster in their primes. LOL.

The point being you can find RB talent in the mid-later rounds like we did with Sproles and Turner.

We need a lot of defensive help. Rather sign a CB but NT, OLB...maybe two, possibly a ILB and OL and we need a WR and this draft is full of em. Just dont want to take a RB where the WRs would be there for us. Gerhart would be cheap ....but again, i like Hyde just dont like spending the pick where he would be at. If w didnt need a WR id be fine with it.

There is no guarantees with Floyd and has china doll health and DX has two bad knees now and will get a year deal if they even offer that. Dont know if Royal will be back.

FA'cy will be a lot more telling, but its so fucking far away...lol. And the fucking draft is farther away now too.
