A lot of zone guys as well. Kaleb Johnson is a good example. Most of his runs are outside zone

The more I watch all these interesting RBs, there is a huge part of me that just says fuck it, if Hampton is there at 22...take the beast. He looks like a force to me.

I’d have no qualms getting him at 55.
I dont think their styles are similar. Dobbins quite a bit more elusive and a lot more breakaway potential coming out of college, especially before all his injuries.

There are specific qualities we're looking for. We have to re-think everything we thought we knew about the RB position... and it's specific responsibilities within this system. When I hear about a RB's ability to contribute as a receiver out of the backfield... I'm thinking, Oh, they don't understand the scheme fit.
The sleeper for our gap scheme could be Damien Martinez, that is where he is best. He actually has the 2nd most yards after contact of all RBs in this draft, behind only Jeanty. Might be my Hurricane bias coming through again but I think he is a riser who will surprise in the NFL

wu's Bronze Balls Mock Pt 2
              "100% Juice"

              3/86. Jaylin Lane
              WR Virginia Tech
Explosive and dangerous so as to draw attention away from Ladd.
4.34 1.5 10 Yard Split etc elite testing athleticism.
Adept at setting up DBs with pace and leaving them in the dust with oiliest of hips.

              4/125. David Walker EDGE
              Central Arkansas
Very quick first step and lateral mobility to create QB pressure. Relentless motor helps greatly. Reminds me a little of the just retired Brandon Graham.

              5/158. Aeneas Peebles DT
              Virginia Tech
Pass rushing 3Tech adds that element to our DL rotation. Fast penetration and pressure.

The Hampton go for 2.5k team rushing mock
Sacrificing edge a bit for a complete offense

                  1 Hampton RB

2 Taylor/Arroyo/Fannin TE. Roll the dice on Fannin if necessary, WR much later or no if Keenan’s back

                  3 Belton/Trapilo/Grant G

4 Sorrell/Baron Edge. Edge early next year + a FA or trade now

                  5 McLaughlin/Majors C. Not expecting McLaughlin here

                  6 Wohler/Sanker S. Derwin rushes & some nickel

6 Prather/Thornton WR. WR early next year

6 Fidone TE. I too love the upside

7 Longerbeam or your fav available corner

7 Gregory/Biggers DT. Mocked Jerrod Clark here 2 yrs ago

Yes. If Hampton isn't there @#22 and if Judkins is gone by #55... Damien Martinez would be my choice in the 3rd round.
Some may say that was too high to draft him there... but he fits the big-back mold we're looking for.
Having said that, he got a lot more space to run in the Hurricanes' offense... Cam Ward and Arroyo were the opposing defense's worries.
But he could aptly rotate with Najee... and keep both fresh.

Jaylin Lane will probably play slot for someone. Smallish size... but has the speed to push defenders deep.
I am not against getting slot depth/help. Go after a true W-WR next draft... after MW departure. Not a bad suggestion.

David Walker also a bit smallish. Nice quick 1st step (as you say). Pass rush specialist...? Might have trouble holding the edge vs the run.

I like Aeneas Peebles... I actual have him as a 3rd/4th round prospect. A 3-tech is definitely on the want-list.

I’m on board with this. Greg Cosell likes Martinez after those 2 as well.
I’d love it if the Chargers could pull off a trade to move up again like last year and get another WR.
                        CHI has 2 2’s but they don’t have a 4th. So use 125 +181 (4th+6th) to move up to 41.CHI still has 39 and now 55.
