Wilkins is not very good using his hands. If he can work hard at that this summer, he can make himself a lot of money and win a national championship along the way. He would have been a high pick based on his physical tests alone, but he has great tools he can use a lot better. He also can sell everyone on himself if he stays at DT, which is where he will play in the NFL. So much of his college playing time is at DE. Even a 34 team looking at him is going to want to see him play better inside.
Every player in the list would be better off having gone back to school for at least 1 year, if not 2. They are gambling on big money, but you look at the NFL players who have more immediate success coming out, they are the players who have excellent technique. That list is very short on strong technique players. Most of them won't even get drafted, like most seasons.

Thats what makes him valuable in the 1st. Because hes far from polished in the passing game. He struggles with tracking RBs out of the backfield in the passing game. He bites on QB fakes often. He has the potential to be a SAM type but will most likely start inside. But i love his production over his last 2 years wreaking havoc in the backfield of opposing defenses. He bounced back and forth for VT inside and outside. So he has experience in both spots.
These are some of the safer picks imo. Love my All Americans
Roquan Smith - All American
Tremaine Edwards
Billy Price - All American
Maurice Hurst - All American
