Andy Reid said he did not know how well Mahomes would do in the NFL. He said you do your homework and do the best you can to draft talent that you think can succeed at the next level. But you just dont know how they will handle everything or how quickly they will improve at the next level. He literally said 50% of 1st rd picks dont make it. That he wants to say he knew Mahomes would do this but he just didn't know. Its a risk.

TT could end up feeling that way about Herbert.
likes the talent enough to draft him but just doesn't know it will work out.

It would be best if Herbert sat and watched.
Better yet. TT signs TB12 to a 2 year deal and lets the 21 year old rookie watch for 2 years.

Rodgers for 3.
Rivers for 2.

You don't have to force the rookie QB onto the field.

If you want to improve the o line there are very good experienced veterans available in free agency. Sign 1 of them.

This is TB's money year. No way he signs a 2 year deal. I can assure you he will get a 4 minimum from somebody and more than likely a 4 plus an option year. Now you can prolly get MM on a 2 year deal.......
