Fotu is a tough one to evaluate. He disappears some plays, then breaks through for a pressure or sack once in a while. If Fotu is there in round 4 or 5, that's still good value.

Who is QB? Not sure you thought out the OL, our luck Wills get injured in Camp and Conklin retires after first game. I do like the rest.

QB appears to be between Stick and Tyrod. Not sure how I can present a logical argument against Wills getting hurt in camp and Conklin retiring after 1st game...

No of course not, but I don't see us going into a new stadium with just those 2.

I suggested Anthony Gordon (WSU) as a 3rd QB. Tyrod is a bridge QB. Stick...? Who knows...

My point is this... other than Joe Burrows, all draftable QB's are going to sit on the bench for a year anyways. You can spend all of your cap money (and not re-sign HH, AE, JB) on an old, end-of-the-line, veteran QB (like Brady) or you can give yourself cap-relief, re-sign young core players, and develop a young QB. Eventually, you have to develop a young QB anyways...

We knew this day was coming. Don't salvage the future for a shiny, new stadium. It's not going anywhere. The Rams did themselves a dis-service trading away future picks for Ramsey. Their OL fell apart and now they don't have the picks or cap room to fix it.

I think my #1 scenario is to sign Bridgewater. He won't command near as much as the long tooth vets & I think he is still on the rise. Burrow is a pipedream, but I would love to have him if we could pull it off. Tua/Herbert I'm not really excited about either way. Getting OL help & maybe Hurts in the 2nd would be ok with me. I don't even mind bringing in Mariota on the cheap to compete. Brady, Newton or Winston would be worst case in my book.

I think Bridgewater will command $20 million +. Tua/Herbert scare me, too. I'm looking OT in FA and @#6. Build the OL for future QB. No way am I setting myself up for a David Carr scenario. Pass on Brady/Newton/Winston. Take the money you'd spend on those temporary fixes and re-sign HH, Bosa, James, ect.

Remember how crappy Brees looked behind that crappy OL. Then they go out and sign FA's and draft solid OL. Viola! Brees didn't suck any more. Coincidence...? I think not...

Poor David Carr. That guy took an absolute gang beating.

Yeah, it was sad. We never got to see if he was good or not. He never had a chance...
