More of a coverage guy imo. And probably headed to towards slot. But i like slot guys who can man up. I just think its decent value. I dont see him as a perimeter shut down guy. Even though he was known to take out a teams top WR in college. I just think guys who can man up have good read and recognition skills baked into it. King could see some outside work.

Its a 7th round pick so i was just going with value more than fit. Along with potential to make the roster.

With 7 players locked up for 2022 we need to really make some hits on the mid to late round players.

I think sitting there in the 3rd will be a potential ace WR. Just like Keenan was. This is the draft to steal a player in the 3rd and 4th. Guys with 2nd round grades. I keep thinking about a guy like Shenault. Would love to see a high caliber guy like him there that falls just because he had a down year. And not so much even his fault. He wont be there but thats the type of stud that could be sitting there in the early 3rd.

I understand and respect the smart draft strategy of waiting at deep positions.

Now, the counterpoint.

These players come in "tiers" in terms of talent level.

If we draft say Jeudy at #6, someone else will draft the WR in round 3,
and we can then be able to snag a player at a different PON.

It is all a chess game. RB. DB. OT.

Wouldn't it be nice to see TT be aggressive,
and do some trading up and down.

I know the TPB draftniks want some of that...all LAC fans do.

Problem with waiting, you can also end up passing on the top of the tier guy, then a round later you get a guy in that tier supposedly, then you have to redraft that position the next year.

I’m all for drafting top of the tier, every chance we can get. More bodies do not make up for talent. See a lot of TT’s drafts.

TT has seemed to throw darts at positions, not the best way. I actually liked the Pipkins pick, cuz if it works out you get a solid starter at a tough spot to get one unless you drop a 1st. And even then like with every position, no guarantees.

TT is learning.
