I think I have to agree...... if all 4 top QB's go in top 4 picks and Chargers cannot work a trade into the top 2 spots, then we would be forced to take BPA, which would be simmons and he fills a need at same time. If QB's and young are gone, i doubt anyone would want to trade up...... if so I would don't want to drop more than a few spots so we could still draft Okuda, brown, kinlaw or the best OT in draft

I have seen some people who have Derrick Brown rated higher than Simmons and tackle is also a need. If for some reason we did not go for a QB, I'd be happy with either of them or Okudah.

Best CB in this draft. Simmons is simply a better prospect.

Didn’t say we don’t need one, but I don’t think any tackle in this draft is better than those 3 so if it was BPA, I’d go with one of those.

Generally, most rank Young, Burrow, Okudah, Tua, Simmons as top 5 players. Brown, Wills, Wirfs, Thomas, Lamb top 10.
Looks like OL Wills, Wirfs, Thomas, Becton are upper half 1st picks.

FA, 2nd-3rd rds are reasonable options. Depends on who, if any drop out of top 5. Okudah or Tua would get my #6. No surprise drops - I like Wirfs but could be happy with Wills, Thomas or Becton.

if there were no QB's..... I would likely take Okudah over online, DT, because complete shut down CB's with blazing speed, size, great tackling ability are fairly rare.....

Don't you see that's what we have been doing - oh boy, there's that great WR/RB/etc. so we take him and miss out on a solid OT. There are several very good OT's in this league that the Chargers could have had but passed on.
The upside is - we can all gripe about our lousy OL all year long if we keep passing up the good OL talent available.
