What I mean by that is if you get a day 1 starter at receiver you can usually pick up a very good corner back at #37. The top 5 receivers most likely will be gone by#37 but there will be a good cornerback most likely there. Am I wrong here!

You are probably correct on both counts.
My thought process is what is the talent gap between prospects in position groups.
      - what is the difference in prospects grades of WR1 - WR10 vs. CB1 - CB5?
      - - on my board the gap in WR talent is much closer from 1-10 than CB 1-5, so CB is the more prized high end talent. I can get a impact starting caliber WR in round 3 if not day 3.

My thoughts are that we can get a Zone Corner mid or late rounds.

These guys might be undervalued by others.

Kiper has Tua going 5 to Miami and Herbert 6 to the Chargers

Burrow, Young, Okudah , Simmons (I she a tear), Tua and Herbert

Seems more "need" than BPA - but if he checks out - I am fine with the pick. Missing on a QB is less costly than say the Leaf trade.

Im not really looking CB until round 3/ day 3.

Reggie Robinson II, STO, Troy Pride, T. Keyes, L. Sneed, H. Hand, M. Omenudia & D. Acy are guys I like that fit the bill.

While he may have the order correct, Kiper is a complete and udder asshat.

So surely that is what wont happen if Mel said it lol.

Tua is the better QB, but Herbert will be the more durable one while he learns. Just think he needs to get his footwork down to be more accurate on mid range throws.

Years ago I attended the Chargers practices regularly - seems like about 100 years. They had a young QB named Dan Fouts and a QB coach named Bill Walsh. I witnessed Walsh working on his footwork over and over and over again.
For days, he made Dan spend the bilk of the practice session on footwork. I bet Dan was weary of it but the repetition worked and I believe that Dan never would have become a HOF QB if not for all that time spent on footwork.
Maybe a young QB from the Ducks could follow in the footsteps of Dan? Do we have a teacher like Walsh on this coaching staff now?

I was hoping they would have signed Jim Caldwell by now.

What is the latest you'd like to see telesco dip into the wide receiver pool?
                          - meaning if telesco waits until the ?th round to get a wide out, you'll be disappointed.
