I agree with this. (as per my point above).

However, Russell showed a much improved 3 point shot at the end of the season, you know, when he actually got to play.

If they were to sign someone like DeRozen, I would like to see someone like Batum. But I don't think Charlotte is going to want to part with him. Charlotte will have some interesting choices to make... Kidd-Gilchrist coming back from injury, and both Batum and Marvin Williams played well for them this year... basically all at the same position. (although M. Williams can slide over to PF). Got to think one of those guys will be leaving.

Thats my hope. Trade the pick and Russell for a proven vet, then sign DeRozen and one of the FA Centers. I don't see it happening but Whiteside and Derozen would be a dream offseason.
