Pads Game Day (or frustration) Thread.

This thread is intended to go all season long: A catch all to vent or celebrate during any/all of our games this season.

For todays game: Pads lead 5-4 after they take the lead on a two run wild pitch in the 8th. Street now in for the save (or scare).

Great inning for for the boys on Jackie Robinson day. Veneble double, Amarista QAB infield single, Seth Smith RBI single and, Jed had a great ab, hitting behind a runner for a RBI.

Bases loaded, and we just can't get that clutch hit. They'll eventually start coming, but damn, it's frustrating.

Great ball game on the tube. Pads up 3-1 B5. Rockies can absolutley pick it on D. Very fun to watch.

Another gem by a pads starter only to lose with poor D and lack of timely hitting.

I know sure as god made little green apples that the offense is going to get better. I'm just not sure when, and if it won't be too late. But at least our pitching is doing well, and if they can hold on a little longer, they may finally get some run support. This offense was streaky last year, but it's beyond belief this year so far.

Yet another gem for our starter (Ross) & yet another scare enroute to a save for Huston street.

Yeah, that must have been a hell of a game by Ross. I didn't get a chance to see it, but the linescore is damned impressive. We've got a good pitching staff. If we could just get the offense to league average, I like our chances.

Street is what he is, but he's been successful for several years, so it's not a fluke. But yeah, he does give me the roller coaster willies when he closes one out.
