If the Chargers really did "push Weddle aside" and not communicate with him and his agent, I have to side with Weddle on this.

I really don't know why he is playing this nonsense right now. The Chargers do this all the time. First they focus on the FA, then the draft, then about resigning contracts. Every team does it this way, unless they need some cap space to sign someone in which case the contract thing gets accelerated. But the Chargers have him under contract and have plenty of cap space, so there was not need to do anything sooner.

A lot of top athletes just like to have their ego's stroked, and he is pissed it didn't happen to him. I suspect Rivers might be similar.

Not always. We re-signed Donald Butler last year before the draft.

The fact that he is an OT and only 26 years old and he still isn't signed is a bad sign.....Who knows maybe his team is just asking for too much money....

But would you agree with the article? That Barksdale would be slightly better than Fluker at RT, and Fluker would be a big upgrade over Troutman at RG?

I think he would be an upgrade over Troutman....not Fluker per se.....doesn't it strike you as odd that no one has signed this guy?? Hell the Rams drafted 3 Offensive Tackles.
