A sign the Chargers' roster has improved, for a second straight week the Bolts lost a player on waivers. The New York Giants claimed LB Nigel Harris. The Chargers lost safety Dexter McCoil to the San Francisco 49ers last week.

Keenan Allen limited in practice, shoulder. If anybody saw that knot on his shoulder during that interview, it's not surprising.

Gordon is limited too with a shoulder. I'm guessing the one he landed on for that leaping score.

anyone want to hazard a guess as to what Tuerk's problem is. He was damn good at USC, should he be a tackle or guard? Something just a little off, but what?

Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I never saw anything published to that effect- and he was cleared to practice & play. It would be virtually impossible for a modern athlete NOT to recover fully and rapidly from common knee injuries now with all the doctors and technology available to them. See Teddy Bridgewater for but 1 recent example- they said he may NEVER play again- and here he is 1 year later trying to regain his starting job.

If he was still injured enough to affect his play, they would not sign him. Why do it? A healthy third string center is better than an injured one.

I wonder if it is his weight. I know he was struggling to get past 285 - maybe that's what the steroids were for.
