Yeah, if Gordon can't play it would not be good to have Oliver and a one handed Ekeler as our backs.

Years previous the Chargers had Ronnie Brown on speed dial. Ryan Mathews hasn't been doing much (maybe can't...) but it would have been nice to have some vet with ability to stay in shape as a deep reserve, after going through training camp.

They do have a RB on the practice squad named Russell Hansbrough who was signed as a UDFA in 2016 with Tampa Bay, and was briefly promoted to active, and then was bounced between the Giants and Bucs. Chargers signed him on December 12.

Not good in a critical game. Oliver gets a big start is my guess....at least hes fresh and little tape on him. Id rather Gordon get healthy than be a complete gimp if we make it in and play the Jags.

If Oliver is our starting RB than Rivers better be on his A game because we'll gain nothing on the ground.

Oliver had over a 100 yards against the Raiders a couple of years ago. While not ideal, I think BO can handle the load for a game or two.

Which is messed up on their part. Players are seeing how the Broncos treat vets and not want to sign with them. Elway is not looking good right now

Elway really kinda sucks as a GM. He has had success with FAs but when you can sign a Peyton Manning and Ware its isnt hard to do if the team can afford it. His drafts have been dismal.

That was before his injury, which seemed to have made him slower, if that was possible. Just not impressed at all.
