I wasn't a big fan of Whisenhunt but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of creativity with Reich. There's the draw out of shotgun up the middle into the back of your center/guard, a bubble screen or two per game, a million crossing routes with Keenan Allen and if that doesn't work, chuck it deep into double coverage in homage to Norv.

Last year we had Mathews healthy for nearly all of the year running behind a line that played over their heads. This year the loss of Hardwick has devastated the line, our RBs are hurt and Rivers is trying to do too much to compensate for it.

This line overachieved big time last year. And now we're minus 2 solid starters from it (Clary and Hardwick). One could argue we might need 4 new OL next year. Only guy that should be guaranteed a spot should be Fluker, and it might not even be at RT. Jury still out on Watt, obviously. I feel like everybody else we have out there is backup material AT BEST. Atrocious.

That's been my position all along: at RG, Clary is a solid starter. The results this season seems to be backing me up.
