Moved this thread to our main forum and now we talk about the roster. Use camp stories and what is happening there to shape impressions or expectations on how the roster will look.

I love Ekeler in his role as a passing down/COP back.
Kelley’s size, vision, power will lead to early down, short yardage, gold zone snaps as the season progresses. JJacks hopefully sees an uptick in touches as well. Time to run the rock!

I'd like to see Ekeler in the lineup about 80% of the time. I'd like to see him and Kelly on the field at the same time (Kelly in the backfield and Ekeler in the slot). Put Ekeler in motion about 80% of the time. Move LB's around and get Ekeler out in the flat while Kelly is attacking inside zone and off tackle. They paid Eke decent money because he is a weapon. Defenses would be more worried about AE than they would a rookie slot (Reed or Hill).

I too hope Austin gets some snaps in the slot but he hasn’t been utilized in the role often to date.

8-12 RA and 10-12 targets in the passing game is what I hope AE gets per game.
10-15 RA for Kelley.
5-10 RA for JJacks.
Lets commit to running the rock 30+ times a game.

This is a solid opening guess. I would love to see Lamp take the LG spot out of camp, but history suggests he will not. With no preseason games it is going to be interesting......

I can only imagine how bad tackling is going to be the first few weeks of the season.

Like the left side of the oline...put the youngins out there, see what we got.

LOL...I have been away so long, I kinda lost track of what we did in the offseason...took me a minute to remember who the hell Harris was....completely forgot we signed that guy.

Jenkins does his job...but I look for some competition there, and maybe not from Adderley, so much as King. Hopefully he comes in with a chip on his shoulder, but the right idea about how to address it...play lights out. Have always wanted to see that guy at FS, every since we drafted him...be cool if he gets a look there.

I have been away all summer for this whole 2020 shitshow...so to be fair, I'll leave my sig from the lost bet up for training camp...you earned it.

I agree on King. I think he was drafted to be a FS but played so well in the slot he surprised the team. He would be a very good FS, I think. But at this point, even though he had a down season, he has had some pretty good success as a CB/NB. That is where the FA money is, not at safety. So he might protest/hold out? He is a pretty good kid so maybe not. But definitely outplaying his contract.
