Turnovers are the key to winning.
No turnovers and we easily win this game.
Decent second half.

We came out flat today. The OL was awful--consistently allowed the DL to collapse the pocket. The defense was giving a known dink and dunk offense with a noodle armed QB waaayyy too much room to operate. It was 100% Bulaga's fault on the incomplete pass that was ruled a fumble--really, really unimpressed with Bulaga. Offisdes and Tillery's beyond stupid penalty cost us big time as without that we would have been kicking a FG to win the game at the end. K.J. Hill does not look like an NFL player.

The only players that I thought played good games were Herbert, Ekeler, Allen, Bosa and Jenkins. Herbert showed tons of poise and should have come away with the win. If Keenan had executed the lateral properly, we win--that simple. Herbert was a gnat's eyelash from engineering a 99 yard drive with only 1:46 on the clock an no timeouts. Honestly, we could give Taylor three weeks of drives from the 1 yard line and he might not make it to the 50 on any of them.

We got too cute on some of the plays... the one that MW couldn’t control in the backfield was really a momentum killer. We were moving the ball until that play.

My takeaways. Herbert is the real deal, or will be with the right tutelage. Play calling is atrocious. Team comes out looking undisciplined. Defense kept it close but yet still can't create turnovers. Even with Bosas offside gaffes he still has the best motor on the team. The Chargers need Defensive line depth. KJ hill is a liability.

You have to be a fan for 30-40 years to understand our pain and reason for the glass being half empty.
I would however be rejuvenated and fired up with new ownership.

Hello. Im a Chiefs fan so I understand pain. Ive been a fan for 50 years so Ive seen it all. Love the AFC West rivalries and miss Seattle being in the division.

Herbert has played well twice, especially compared to Taylor. What games have you been watching?

You count the blind side swipe of Herbert's arm?

How about Lynn's blowing a timeout in the 1rst half on an ill advised challenge? Herbert probably doesn't force the throw on the interception if they still had a timeout with 20 seconds in the half.

They came into the game poorly prepared for a bad, wounded Carolina football team.....mistakes generally are the result.

Except you got a first down. Not likely with the other guy. Yes Lynn is a loser but Herbert back in was the best vchance.
