It is true that Rivers didn't have to do that much in the Vikings and Jets games, but he played with great efficiency. You also left out that the INT in the Vikings game literally bounced off of the receiver's chest, and TY Hilton also dropped a perfectly thrown 50 yard bomb in the endzone.
Rivers is playing VERY well so far, with just the two overly aggressive INT throws against the Jags. Other than that, he's been pretty much lights out.
1st in completion %, 5th in Y/A, and zero 3 and outs so far (only QB/team that can say that).
Tomorrow he plays against a legit defense in Chicago, and the Colts are missing WR2 and WR3. Will be a tough test.

He will do well if you protect him with a good defense, OL and running game and don't have to play from behind. But if you have to put a game on his shoulders, you can expect what happened against the Jags, like we witnessed time and again towards the end of his Bolts career.
The game essentially ended after the Colts drove down the field, down by 7, and then TY Hilton dropped 2 passes including the actual game ender on 4th down.

Rivers delivered in 2018. How people forget the things he did for this franchise.
This current Chargers team is a mess. Those who drank the Kool-Aid were boasting how awesome this team was going to be. It's not looking so good now.

There was a tweet with a video of Rivers trash talking Raquan Smith telling him #28 got the corner on him while at the LOS lol.
I tried to post it here and again on my mobile, I couldn't get it to work.
