You can argue any group is not good enough, and there is usually some truth, but no SB team in recent memory has had an overpowering roster. How good was the Seahawks WR corp last year? How good where their TE's? In fact, if history is a guide, you won't be. How good were the SF or Ravens DL 2 years ago? Ravens had Ngata and SF had Justin Smith, then the rest of their guys are probably about the same level as the guys we have. In fact how many of them are even on the same team anymore? Even on some of the great teams of all times, there were just some solid players. You have to be really good somewhere, you just don't have to be dominant everywhere.

The 2 key things with a championship caliber team is having a couple of areas that are really dominant. If it is WR, fine. If it is OL, fine. Rb, DB, DL..... Pick a spot or two. The second thing is that championship caliber teams have solid players almost everywhere. IN fact that is usually what makes them championship caliber. No weaknesses. So, the first goal almost has to be to get the real holes plugged first. We just have a lot of holes to fill first.
