Agree with many of the sentiments here. Another factor sorely missing is the safety/corner blitz that Bradley loves to run and did w/great success with Derwin James. That's just not been a factor this season at all, and it was a game-changer in '18.
It can't be *just* "Bosa and another guy". There have to be packages, multiple attack points. Those years with Merriman and Phillips, we had other capable pass rushers - Godfrey, Cooper, Edwards, Castillo, etc and of course Jamaal Williams commanding double teams.NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED

Since we obviously can not plug in 8 new guys next year on the DL, which of our current cast would you like to see return?
I'm going Bosa, Nwosu, Tillery, Rochell, Joseph, Jones...maybe Broughton( I'm not sure he's gotten a chance?)
Am I missing anyone?

Remember in 2009 when Jamal Williams went on IR? Ron Rivera had 7-8 DL (in a 3-4 alignment) available to him, and he rotated them in and out to keep them from getting too exhausted. It seemed like there was no depth chart, one set of DL didn't play the majority of snaps, it seemed like they all played an equal number of snaps, and that allowed them to still have some strength left in the 4th quarter. That worked well; Chargers won 13 consecutive games that year, and the next season they had the No. 1 defense. Big bodies tire faster, and it has always made sense to me to have extra depth at DL and OL and rotate, rather than give your best players the large majority of snaps. I've always felt that for the interior line, when you are involved in every play, that a player of decent talent who is fresh is going to be able to beat a player of superior talent who is exhausted.
The same goes for the OL. I'm always surprised when I look at snap counts and see that majority of our OL played 100 percent of snaps. It's no wonder they begin to break down in the 2nd half of games if they get no rest. IMO, that explains why this team has allowed so many and such big comebacks this season. The offense is dynamic in the first half but struggles in the second half, and I think that is because the OL is gassed by the third quarter and can't protect Herbert or open holes in the run game.

Wentz OL has been a problem as well , especially OT with Lane Johnson missing many games and 59 year old Peter's having to go back to LT because of injury.
But the WR injuries.. . Reagor missed a lot of games, DeSean Jackson, and Jeffrey missed a lot of games too as did Ertz. Jeffrey has six receptions for the season.
Fulghum played well in their place as did Ward but missing the above hurts.
Im all for weapons but we have a trenches problem.
Terron Armstead and David Bakhtiari were not drafted in the first half of round one.
Cam Robinson. was, and he is soon to be a URFA...hard pass.
Do you think HOU wants the Tunsil trade now ?
Playmakers create wins.
JaMarr or DeVonta vs Darrisaw or Slater @#12 is a debate worth happening. We do not play modern football.
