31 passes, 35 runs. On the one day when Herbert needed to pass a lot in an otherwise meaningless game, Lynn goes run heavy, throwing 9 less times than Herbert averages. There is no excuse for that. Lynn should have made sure that Herbert got the record and he had every chance to make sure that it happened.

If Herbert would have started from Game 1 he would have easily set another record. It really shows how bad Lynn is with an MVP Rookie QB who should have broken all rookie Records. Yet Lynn cannot fix anything else.

The real question is who can take this team to the next level?

What happened to the roll-outs in previous games? These play to Herbert's strengths. Was this deficiency on Lynn or Steichen? Herbert should have had 400 yards in this game. Yikes!

Herbert set so many rookie records already, the Luck record is kind of meaningless. I don't think it's ever a good idea to coach to set records. You coach to win. And turning to the running game in the 4th quarter to close out a game is how you ice games, especially when the running game is working. Justin Jackson had some nice runs in the 4th Q.

Very nimble runner after the catch. Herbert sure has made a lot of pass-catchers look good on this team that I had never heard of before.

Exactly! And if it was against the Chiefs backups I don't care. We did what we were supposed to do today. I think it's encouraging to win your last four games. Sucks for the draft but...

at what point do we blame the players for not making the play?

                      This was a wierd injury.

Deandre Baker had successful surgery on his broken femur, per Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.

Just one day after breaking his femur on the field at Arrowhead Stadium in his debut on the Kansas City Chiefs defense, Deandre Baker has had successful surgery to repair a breakthat head coach Andy Reid stated was a “clean break” in his description to reporters on Monday.

Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

When they aren't brought back, like Ingram and Hayward. Probably Lamp and maybe Feeney & Tevi.
                        Ballage, Badgely and whoever else.

Wow he broke his femur. I thought it was a knee dislocation from replays.
