That's why the chargers haven't moved yet to LA.
No available public assistance.
If they can make more money here by paying back the bridge loan interest free then that beats the hell out of forking over tens of millions of dollars a year to sachs.
The money here is greater than the money there-hence why they stay.

Sadly the SDUT editorial has it right, if ANY team goes to LA then Deano wants to move the Chargers there
And with an instant $300-$500 million increase in value even if we are#2 in the LA market, he is not going to let that$$$ get away from him
Only way he stays in SD is if stadium deal is too good AND there is no team in LA
With Rams owner buying property and with a better location, deeper pockets and a more realistic stadium plan, it's the Rams all the way to LA unless the NFL blocks him
And NFL owners feel sorry for and loyal to Deano so he will be allowed to be team #2
