Harbaugh would be a balls to the wall signing: roster is signed for a few more years, Herbert can get better

Dont think we need another coaching thread but....looking at those Brady is well spoken and he mentioned his age and really he is right. He is young and lacks some experience (he didnt say that) but seems to like to work and Lynn being much older wasnt a good HC nor was McCoy.
Still think Daboll would be #1 for me with the experiences he has had being around the people he has,...... and i like Saleh as well.
Im not really gonna be commmenting a lot of the coaches. They have some good candidates, just hope they get it right.

LSU just hired two Offensive coaches recommended by..... Joe Brady.
LSU is so high on Brady that they asked him who he recommends.
One coach they hired for their OC is a 10 year NFL coach who LSU said was learning...... Under Brady. The other guy they hired is going to be their passing cord.
Hmmmm... Maybe there is something to Brady, but he just hasn't been a HC and can he manage a game clock? A whole team? He may have the best upside but do we want to be the ones taking his growing pains like we did with Lynn?
On the other hand, LSU lost Burrow, Jefferson and Chase opted out.Last edited by Boltjolt; 01-06-2021, 01:18 PM.

One thing to remember about almost every good/great coach, is they usually control one side of the ball....either calling the plays on offense or defense.....
1. Brian Daboll, Bills OC - Best match with Herbert..... is not obsessed with running the ball..... great play designer/caller..... ex tough OL who does not accept stupid mistakes, so players will work hard and respect him....
2. Joe Brady, Panthers OC - Least experience but maybe biggest upside
2. Arthur Smith, Titans OC - Not sure how he will do without a great running game, but at least he is an aggressive offensive mind....
3. Robert Saleh, Niners DC - Aggressive DC so hopefully he will want aggressive Offense but its a rare thing for DC's to want an aggressive "risky" offense.....
4. Brandon Staley, Rams DC - Dont know much about him but he is a top DC.....
5. Matt Eberflus, Colts DC - Dont know much about him but he is a top DC.....
6. Jason Garrett - another Turner
6. Eric Bieniemy, Chiefs OC - might be a firely leader but he is career RB/RB coach and Reid designs and calls all the plays...... not Bienemy......

As long as it doesn't end up being Garrett, Bieniemy, or Urban Meyer, then I will probably be fine-to-happy with the choice. With that being said, go Daboll!!
