I don't know why, but Daboll is starting to remind me of Freddie Kitchens. Good lord, someone help me shake that image.

Look at the resumes. Daboll had much more experience as an OC with many teams. Just not the Bills, but Browns, KC and even Alabama. He never was OC for the Patriots but actually started out on defense as a QC Assistant. Much more experienced in my view in terms of the jobs and coaching staffs.

Urban Meyer - a winner, no disputing that. Will take charge, strong enough to stymie Spanos attempts to meddle.
Joe Brady - reminds of me McVay, LaFleur, Kingsbury, accomplished at a young age speaks to his abilities
Daboll - he has the Bill's offense humming, has helped J. Allen ascend to elite QB play
Bienemy - is he Andy Reid's Clarence Shelmon or is he a legit football mind? He does call plays in KC, Shelmon never came close to that for Norv
Garrett - no way, why would he even be considered, I thought he was quite lame with the Cowboys
Saleh - I'd rather have an offensive coach
Eberflus - ditto

I dont have a philosophy on what we need. I just want them to hire the right guy and they have a much bigger handle on this than we do.
Just get it right Chargers! This is Telescos last chance.

I feel very confident in saying that.
But also because of that, Dean Spanos will never do it. Jim Harbaugh is exactly what this team needs to change its culture around here. He’s got a bad unearned rep from some people because he values winning and doesn’t play the politics game. He’s not gonna kiss anyone’s ass and only thing he cares about is winning football games.
And believe it or not, that rubs many people the wrong way.Tom Telesco’s Results in 9 years as Chargers GM:
- 69-74 record
- 0 division titles in 9 yrs as GM
- Worst record among all active GMs with same tenure
- 6th worst winning percentage among all active GMs overall
- 2 playoff wins despite elite QB all 9 yrs
- Team still has the same weaknesses (Oline and run defense) that it had when hired as GM in 2013
- Consistently puts together horrible depth, expects starters to never miss games
