I think it's a good bet that KC is going OT in the 1st round... maybe even 2nd round, too.
Lots of late 1st round and early 2nd round graded OT's.
Waiting until the #47 pick might only yield 3rd-round graded OT's this year... get'm early!

Earlier today, heard a lifelong NFL OL coach on Sirius saying he views Slater as an OG not an OT, arms too short and too short in general..... and he said yes he looked good against DE Young BUT he only had 3 plays in the game where he was blocking him...... so he dismisses the people who say he can play OT because of those 3 plays.... It seems like there is only one cant miss OT in this draft, all the others are riskier picks so should not be taken till late first or after..... but a few will be taken sooner because of desperate need....

Unless Sewell drops to 13, Chargers will be better off trading down or taking a sure-fire shutdown CB like Surtain of Alabama, rather than reaching for the 2nd level OT's who may or may not be able to play LT in NFL..... too high to draft an OG or RG.......

He's a slot corner here, unless injuries push him outside.

I think we need to take a good hard look at Dalvin Tomlinson.

I was tweeting with Popper today and he thinks Linval Joseph is a fit for the STaley defense. He did have a good year last year. But there is 7.9m of cap space - would Tomlinson be better?



Looks like teh Linsley cap hit in year 1 will be 6.6m -- so pretty decent

Got to remember some of that is for draft picks and Popper said TT likes to keep a pool for adding players during the season for injuries.

I think he accounted something like 10 mil for that. He tweeted it earlier before all the action started.

Maybe closer to $20 million. This was Popper’s calculations before FA:

Telesco also typically likes to leave some breathing room for potential in-season moves. That will take up at least an additional $5 million in space, which brings the spending space down to $36.3 million.

Been a proponent of this dude for months. Could really make our front stout, physical, and aggressive.

We may only need 1 CB this draft. And Chris Harris said he would like to play outside CB when he was first signed. If Staley/Hill believes CH can play outside, then that means we have more flexibility when it comes to drafting a CB.

I would imagine that TT has one more FA IOL still to sign. If we are targeting OT in the draft, it would be nice to have a vet at LG next to our rookie LT.

Staley compared Bosa to K. Mack. Bosa may be the OLB/Edge. Maybe OLB is not as urgent as we once thought. Maybe later rounds for depth...?

If we re-sign Jenkins... then Staley/Hill believe he can be solid in the scheme. We won't need safety through the draft.

Someone like Trill William who has played outside, slot and some safety is the type they should look at.

Ifeatu can do the same inside or out. Plenty of options.

Looks like the Giants are trying for Leonard Floyd so with them bringing back Leonard Williams - could that leave Dalvin Tomlinson for the Chargers
