Chargers were already a top 5 3rd and long team last year.

I'd rather do more to avoid that situation this year.

Executing & producing positively on 1st and 2nd down is a novel approach for us. I hope to see tons of it this season.

If you want to see third and longs you should really watch last year's film. I'm hoping the new staff won't get us in that situation nearly as often.

2nd and short is when the playbook is really wide open. Would love tons of plays from that situation this year.

Yep...and what's impressing me about Johnson is that he not only catches the long ball well, but he also showed last season that he is also effective in other routes on the tree. Nice to have a mentor like KA...finally, unlike Guyton, Johnson had NO drops last season...a lot to like with this dude...
