I questioned both at the time of the pick, but I was able to see the traits that make an NFL WR on Palmer's tape. I watched McKitty's tape and saw nothing. And still see nothing.

Exactly, they have actually interviewed some of the charger players on that channel.

Facyson has to show he CAN play on the perimiter. He hasnt been good thus far.

I saw an improvement by Facyson last year as the year rolled along. He could be another kid ready to start showing more than expected. He has good size and speed so his natural ability gives him a chance. There's room for hope!

How was his blocking?

Edit: I guess after watching both him and Tremble, I don’t see the difference except one was projected as a 5th rounder and one was a third rounder. McKitty apparently impressed at the Senior Bowl for whatever that’s worth.

Crickets is better than sucking right off the bat. And luckily it’s just the start of training camp.

It's barely the 1st week of camp, and McMeow was an underused mostly blocking TE, and he's a rook...Rome wasn't built in a day...

Bingo.

Plus, anyone whose job it is to block is sure to look like a chump before practices with full pads. Without grabbing shoulder pads, effective blocking is almost impossible.

You are right Xenos, McKitty cat was brought in primarily to be a blocker.
If he succeeds at that and can become a decent 3rd options on passing downs,
then it will have worked out.

Not a lot of tight ends impressing reporters with blocking at this point.
