I would say it’s nothing against them as much as the players available, still on the board, combined with team needs. Two higher rated TE’s on the board, I would say a pretty equal split of board members between Hunter Long, BC and Tommy Tremble, ND, who I liked better, but understood TT goes for golden domers too much so didn’t object. Palmer should have still been available pick #97. But objectively I’ll take a hit of 1 out 2 in third round and move along happily. Thing with McKitty is he will be expected to do more of the dirty work. Blocking, chipping, special teams, durability, practice hard and patience. His head is probably spinning and trying to figure out assignments but they will clarify and he will become a necessary evil.Originally posted by Ghost of Quacksaw View PostComment

It's important to remember that when we read something about a guy making a great play, they haven't even put on the pads yet and they may be making those plays against players that aren't long for the NFL.
Monday they put on the pads and it gets real. Praying for minimal injury problems.THE YEAR OF THE FLIP!Comment

QBs aren’t even targeting WR James is covering, even Keenan
Stick hasn’t improved in 2 years, would be a waste as qb3
