    I hope with Staley and this staff there is better communication on what type of player to draft and how to use that player. I know Lynn liked Kenneth Murray but did Gus Bradley use him correctly. Were they trying to make him Bobby Wagner when he was more KJ Wright - for example. Lynn I think also liked Josh Kelley.

    Again my hope is STaley has a clue who he likes for the scheme and not just they are good football players

        Or possibly Allen's nightmare?

        I remember that draft over at the CMB and everyone was pretty pumped with Lamp and Feeney. I remember I was..........oh well expectations not met.......I blame Lynn.

          One of my favorite forum subjects is armchair GM's. I think Rich is spot on. The whole Lynn staff was garbage.

          Like drafting is an easy thing. It's all a crap shoot when you factor in injuries and development at the next level. Case and point the GOAT was taken in the 6th....

            I was okay with the Feeney selection, but I thought Lamp was over bit over drafted. And I also think that the injury really set him back. I was in favor of resign both. And I thought since Lamp finally played all 16 last year it was sort of like his rookie year in a way.

            I did think Dion Dawkins was a higher rated player than Lamp in that draft and he didn't go until bottom of Rd 2.
            Dawkins has started 59 games at left tackle and last 3 season all 16 games.

            So I think it's a combo of bad luck, some over drafted picks but then also not resign them that adds up to failed draft for Telesco.

            And when I say over drafted, I also mean Mager and Pipkins. As well as other over Telesco time as GM.

            Who has it better than us?

              He just ran into a really bad situation here:

              Small school guy, making transition to new position on opposite side of line under tutelage of marginal oline coach;
              gets a major injury that failed to heal properly requiring 2nd surgery;
              team couldn't ease him back in due to playoff run;
              finally starts & incurs freak injury in 2nd game due to someone rolling up on him from behind;
              starts again his final season between inexperienced LT, inexperienced center & inexperienced signal caller.

              Lynn said that he would have made a big difference in 2017 if he didn't get injured. I guess we will never know
              what went wrong.

                        Lamp will probably be a pro bowler for the Bills

                          If so, it answers the question if it is TT or coaching staff that fails to develop talent.
