Turn off the Lamp (Forrest)

Well, it's kind of a shame that neither Lamp nor Feeney developed like we expected. Remember when they were drafted in back to back picks in rounds 2-3 four years ago. We all thought we had the players who would anchor the guard positions for a decade, and be key components to developing a superior NFL OL.

Interesting that every player from the 2017 draft is still playing in the NFL, even 6th and 7th rounders Tevi and Rochell, but all are playing for other teams, except 1st rounder MW. Also interesting is that the best 2017 rookie was undrafted. Also interesting is that the only player from the Chargers' 2017 rookie class to become a Pro Bowler is Younghoe Koo.

Telesco is failing.
The philosophy he talks about is to draft well and resign them.
He isn't getting it done.
Think it's time for him to go and Chargers should look to hire someone from the Saints or Ravens.Who has it better than us?

And these are the reasons I don't want him trading up for Sewell 1) he has shown that even with 7 draft picks he will miss on a 3rd or 4th rounder 2) his evaluation process in trading up - well he is oh for 3 with players eligible for a second contract to be signed again by the Bolts
I just don't trust Telesco. He has been in his current job for well over 20 years - meaning working in the NFL. I just do not think he is that good at it.
Maybe part of it is coaching and maybe part of it is he doesn't select the right players for the scheme fit.

So, now Lamp is a Bill:
Bills sign OL Forrest Lamp to one-year deal
The Bills have signed offensive lineman Forrest Lamp. The team announced the move on Wednesday, and it’s said to be a one-year deal. The Bills have signed offensive lineman Forrest Lamp. Previously a 2017 second-round pick, Lamp was a pretty well-touted prospect prior to that draft. Lamp, 27, just finished up his rookie contract with the Chargers.
