    Jackson, James, Tillery.

    Maybe Williams. But he has already had some decent seasons so I don't think so.

    Vets like Bulaga and Harris don't fall into this category. Their best days are behind them. The question for them is can they still play.

    White and Jones may have already reached their ceilings, later draft picks who are decent players and are good enough to have a role.

    Pipkins probably hasn't reached his ceiling, but I don't think he has to have a "breakout" season to be a successful player. He has solidified a role as a back up and that is all he may ever be.

      Maybe Bradley's D got the most out of him and it was unwarranted hype..
      We will know with Staley.

      I chose Derwin wondering if he can stay healthy.

      Pipkens is who he is....an okay swing tackle would be his ceiling.
      Tillery is who he is.....a guy Telesco should have passed on.

      I'm not sure you can label pipkins anything yet. Year One was a jump from division 3 and needing to add physical strength. Year teo was greatly affected by a lack of off-season and preseason where the teaching and reps were really needed. I think this is a big year for his growth and I truly believe we have a good coaching team to help him and other young players on the squad.

        Agree. Sammy smalls get an extra year before bust labeling occurs. That goes for Adderley too. I’ve still got hopes that Pipkins can be our RT of the future...but I wouldn’t bet my house on it.

        Tillery, on the other hand, played for a power five, so if he doesn’t play like a 1st rounder this year he’ll be firmly in bust territory. I had him graded as a 2nd rounder, so I’d settle for 2nd round quality output.
        Our quarterback is a golden god.

          I think this is fair
          if Staley can't make him a starter, no one can

              I don’t. Tillery had shitty coaching in yr 1 with a horrible DC (jmo), and then he had the same weird COVID season. He played a hell of a lot better than Sammy Smalls, who got beat like a pinata.

                You might be an even bigger JT supporter than even myself
                with his experience, if he doesn't lock down a starting spot this year under Staley, I think I'm comfortable moving on after this rookie contract

                  Tillery was a disappointment his rookie year; then again, he was coming off of an injury;
                  he was again a disappointment his 2nd year (one good game (Cincy) against a team with scrubs on the interior);
                  i suppose you can blame that on COVID.

                  However, Bradley moving him out to the edge last year (5-T?) was a bad sign: comparable to moving a failed OT inside to guard.
                  Most here didn't like picking him in the 1rst (outside of a good day against Stanford, he looked underwhelming at Notre Dame),
                  and his failure just confirms what we originally thought. Telesco looking for the next Chris Jones (without Chris Jone's power and first step).

                  He's done, stick a fork in him.

                    The move was due to necessity with injuries on the outside.

                      They could have put Damion Square there: he did a good job last time they were short on the outside.

                        He's done if we don't pick up his 5th year option. He's got two seasons to prove himself under Staley.
