Another thing Inhave noticed the past couple of years is that LT are having a harder time adjusting to the NFL. A lot of guys coming from spread offences now, and many have rarely if ever played with a hand on the ground. Take a look at how some of the LT coming from spread offences have struggled. I think that trend continues. There are a few that come out of more traditional offences, but by and large tackles have been struggling to adjust.

From Acee's chat today:
It has been pointed out that if the Chargers do move to LA there training facility would remain here for a few years until the stadium is built. That would essentially eliminate most of the relocation potential for Rivers and his family for at least 3-4 years. If this truly is the case, then I would say Rivers reluctance to sign an extension lies solely on the front offices inability to upgrade to roster to Rivers liking.....Am I right or am I wrong?
@MikeyG253: I can't speak for Rivers. I can say (as we have been reporting for a week) that the sides continue to talk and the ball is in the Chargers' court at this point, from my understanding ... And, yes, the roster has always been a concern for Rivers ... He wants to stay in San Diego.

According to this article, the "city provides" it to the Chargers - whatever that means:

Maybe it eventually gets sold off to a corporate developer to make more of those mc-offices, or self storage, but the city won't turn away revenue just to spite the team. They'll probably boost the rent, if it isn't under a long term lease, and the Chargers beef up security at the fortress to fend off the angry villagers.Prediction:
Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

Can you imagine, the team moves to LA, yet spends the majority of their time in Murphy Canyon? Even Fabiani's pr firm would struggle spinning that.
